Sheikh Abubakar Gumi has called on the government to listen to the demands of bandits so as to release the victims of the Kaduna train attack.

Sheikh Gumi who was speaking at a prayer session for the safe release of victims of the Kaduna train attack organised by Jamiyar Matan Arewa a northern women base group says the victims are innocent citizens

On his part, the CAN chairman, Kaduna states chapter Rev Joseph Hayap call on the government to always remember their constitutional obligation which is the protection of lives and properties. Hajiya Rabi Saulawa the chairperson of Jamiyar Matan Arewa said as mothers, they feel the pains of the victims and the families of the Kaduna train attack which necessitated the prayer meeting.
