The leadership of the Imo state police command says it has apprehended the bandits who attacked and killed the DPO and inspector of police including a civilian at Ahiara junction in Mbaise local government areas of Imo state.

 

Parading the suspects at the Imo police command headquarters, the commissioner of police CP Danjuma Aboki said 

the high powered investigation into the matter has started yielding tremendous result.

 

According to the CP, they successfully arrested the key members of the gang that perpetrated the dastardly act and recovered five AK47 rifles, ammunitions and other dangerous weapons.

 

 

In his confessional statement, the arrested suspect who identified himself as Obi Chukwuemeka confessed being a member of the deadly gang, as the CP urges those intending to come home for the Christmas celebration to do so without fear.
