The Proactive policing of the Delta state police command has continued to result in the success story of clamping down on criminals in Delta state.

These were the words of the state police commissioner CP Olufemi Abaniwonda while briefing journalists on the achievement of the command in the past one week.

Parading arms,. ammunition and millions of naira as exhibits received from arrested suspected kidnappers, armed robbers among others, the Delta state police commissioner CP Olufemi Abaniwonda while briefing journalists on the giant strides of the command in the last one week, said four notorious kidnappers terrorizing Ughelli and environs were arrested.

Speaking further, the Delta police commissioner stressed that credible information from the force headquarters led to the arrest of some transborder Kidnapping Suspect in neighbouring Edo and Ondo state.

Items recovered from the various suspects include AK 47 rifles as well as other sophisticated arms as well as millions of random money.

Meanwhile, the arrested suspects are presently cooling their heels at the police headquarters before prosecution in line with professional best practices.
