And in the spirit of the children's day celebration, minicomputers have been presented to three students who excelled in an Essay competition organized by the spouses of Ogun State Government Functionaries Association while the state governor announced a scholarship for a 13-year-old student of Ansarul Deen Senior School Abeokuta, Oyinbo Precious.

Addressing the students at the Moshood Abiola stadium in the state capital, governor Dapo Abiodun promised a review of programmes and policies that will ensure children realize their innate and God-given potentials for the betterment of the society at large.

The event was rounded off with the cutting of the second year anniversary cake of the administration as the state governor; Dapo Abiodun led other dignitaries to observe the cutting of the cake.
