The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS), has called on President Bola Ahmed to sack corrupt and incompetent personalities serving in his administration.

The NANS President, Pedro Obi, made the call while he led a group of student union on a peaceful protest to the office of the Secretary of the Government of the Federation on Wednesday.

Addressing journalists, Obi expressed concerns about the competence of the Minister of State for Youth Development and the SSA to the President on Student Engagement.
He further stated that both personalities showed a high level of incompetence by interfering with the politics of NANS, hence fueling discordance within the body of student union.

Obi, while calling for their sack within 21 days, also restated that the NANS under his leadership will remain committed to fighting for the interests of Nigerian students.

Receiving the NANS on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Permanent Secretary, General Services Office in the OSGF, Maurice Mbaeri, assured the NANs that their complaints will reach the President through the SGF, urging the student union to maintain decorum as they continue to fight for the interest of Nigerian
