Community Policing Will Solve Insecurity in the Country - Isa Aremu
In the wake of serial attacks, students’ abductions by some armed bandits in the country, a former NLC chairman has advised state governors to deepen community policing in their respective states.
Comrade Aremu said insecurity is an unofficial class war against the poor by the elites while urging the media to demand more protection for the masses as he advises state governors to implement state policing.
Comrade Aremu urges Nigerians to demand protection from their leaders saying Nigerians must begin to impeach leaders who are underperforming and must not elect bad leaders into governance so that the country can move forward.
The former NLC chairman accused the Nigerian military of destroying the police saying Nigerians must take ownership of the police so that they can protect their lives and properties.
