The APC Media Advocacy Network is calling on security agencies to immediately investigate a group of individuals accused of sponsoring false and inflammatory content aimed at destabilizing Kogi State’s political environment.

President of the Network, Wisdom Ohalete, made the call during an urgent media briefing, where he alleged that disgruntled APC members, working with a serving federal lawmaker and the head of a federal agency, have been funding content creators to circulate misleading videos and damaging narratives.

Ohalete said the materials falsely portray Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and former Governor Yahaya Bello and are designed to sow ethnic suspicion and undermine the state’s long-standing political arrangements.

He warned that the alleged activities pose a threat to the unity of the APC in Kogi State and could strain the relationship between the Kogi State Government and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Network also urged authorities to invite the implicated federal lawmaker for questioning and provide updates on the progress of the investigation.
