These were the words of the Commanding officer 6 Division Nigerian Army Major General Jamal Abdussalam while declaring open the weeklong inter-brigade corporal and below competition at the Effurun barracks in Uvwie local government area of Delta state.
Addressing participants, Major General Jamal who was represented by Brigadier General Edet Effiong, stressed on the need for combat readiness in the military.

On his part, the host and commander 63 brigade Nigerian Army Brigadier General Ugochukwu Vitus calls for collective efforts on the part of officers and men.
