The federal government has commissioned the construction of Wurukum Fly - over bridge project along the Lafia- Makurdi - Otukpo - Enugu dual carriage way to ease vehicular activities and facilitate Agricultural produce from BENUE to other states of the federation. 

The construction of a fly over bridge, an intersection of a 500kiliometer road is to cost the sum of 950million dollars and is expected to be completed before the next general election. 

The Minister of Works, David Umahi, disclosed this during the flagging off ceremony where he appreciated Governor Hyacinth Alia for compensating to those whose property were affected and for supporting President Bola Tinubu in infrastructural development in Benue.
