Fegor Ogude Hits Brace On Amkar Perm Debut

The Super Eagles midfielder was superb on his debut for Stanislav Cherchesov’s men as he scored twice in the Russian Premier League

Nigeria’s Fegor Ogude got a brace for new club Amkar Perm in the 5-1 demolishing of FC Volga on Monday.

The game played at the Zvezda Stadium, Perm saw the former Valeranga player who wore jersey number 87 find the back of the net in both halves to condemn their visitors to one of their heaviest defeats of the season.

The 26-year-old Nigerian got the curtain raiser for Amkar in the fourth minute before the visitors' equaliser came in the 31st minute through Luton Shelton.

Bulgarian star Georgi Peev put the hosts in the lead eight minutes before the half time break via a penalty kick.

Ogude completed his brace in the 79th minute after heading home from six yards before Maxim Kanunnikov and an own goal from Maciej Kowalczyk completed the rout for the home team.

The win places Amkar Perm in seventh position on the Russian Premier league table with 33 points from 20 games.
