The Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission has announced a new date for its local government elections From 15 of May to 5th June 2021.

Ibrahim Sambo the acting chairman of the commission while announcing the new date said they are giving political parties 93 days to prepare for the elections.

Addressing newsmen on the new schedule of the local government elections, Ibrahim Sambo assured all political parties of free, fair and independent elections saying all votes must count.

Some political party members had some observations to make saying they hope the irregularities that happen in the previous elections will not occur again.
