Bayelsa governor swears-in 23 special advisers
The Bayelsa state governor Seriake Dickson has sworn-in 23 youths including the former chairman of Brass local government who was an APC chieftain, as special advisers to work closely with him on youth and conflict resolutions matters.
The swearing-in which was done at the executive chambers of the Bayelsa state government house in Yenagoa, is in line with the governor’s earlier promise of bringing youths to his government.
Speaking at the swearing-in, Dickson reiterates his preparedness in handing over the state to competent youths.
On their part, the former APC chieftain and a youth appointee promised to key into the governor's program, as the IYC chairman says there is hope for youths in the state.
The governor also promised to introduce more youths into the educational and health sector before the end of his tenure come 2019.
