Tetfund Profers Solution To Out Of School Crisis In Nigeria

The Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Arc. Sonny Echono, has identified Technology Driven Learning as the only solution to the increasing rate of over 20 million out-of-school children in Nigeria.
Speaking at a two-day workshop on Blackboard and TERAS Adoption in Abuja, Echono argued that digital platforms and artificial intelligence offer the most practical solution for mass literacy, allowing students nationwide to learn simultaneously.
He described the underuse of government-funded digital infrastructure in institutions as a classic definition of waste.
TETFund’s Director of ICT, Joseph Odo, said the ongoing stakeholder sessions across the six geopolitical zones aimed at strengthening digital adoption and improving teaching, research, and learning standards.
