Police Rescue 4 kidnapped Children In Anambra

The Anambra state police command says it has rescued four children of the same family abducted at Achalla village, in Njikoka local government area of Anambra state.

The police in a statement by its spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga made available to our correspondent, said the mother of the children through a distress call contacted the police of the children's abduction and the police swung into action.

According to the police,the Anambra police commissioner Aderemi Adeoye ordered immediate mobilization of personnel and vigilante after the kidnappers, which paid off with their rescue twenty five kilometres away from where they were abducted.
The abducted children have since reunited with their parents, as the police commissioner warn criminals involve in kidnapping to desist or face being treated worse than armed robbers.
