Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has assured residents whose communities have been ravaged by Erosion of the state government resolve to find a lasting solution. The governor made the disclosure during an inspection tour of the ongoing drainage construction works along the Ovia River.

According to the governor, the ongoing works is to control the erosion ravaging parts of Benin City the state capital. The head of the contracting firm also stressed on the flood control measures being put in place.
