Oyo NSCDC Arrest Four Suspect For Theft of Palliative

Officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Oyo State Command arrested four (4) suspect for theft of 67 bags of 50kg of Maize meant for palliative at Oyo State Secretariat Agodi, Ibadan.

The suspects were arrested at the main entrance gate of the Secretariat of Oyo State.

The State Commandant of the Corps, CC Iskilu Akinsanya disclosed that the four suspects are Akinade Olubukola Male, 49 years from Gege area of Ibadan with 12 bags of 50kg of Maize in a Blue Honda Accord with Registration number BDJ 189 XN.

Others are Sakiru Yekeen Male, 56 years from Oke Apon Compound at Total Garden Ibadan with 45 bags of Maize in a Cabstar with Registration number SMK 09 XN in the company of Babatunde Adedayo Male, 56 years, from Lagelu, Abidi Odan Compound and fourth person Oguntayo Kayode Male, 39 years from Agbole Seriki Oke Ibukun in Olorunsogo Local Government, Igbeti, 10 bags of Maize in a Blue colour Vilks Wagen Golf car with Registration number FKJ 89 CY.

The Commandant said the Suspects will be charged to court after the completion of the investigation. 

He also used the medium to enjoin the good people of Oyo State to always believe in the Security agencies in the State and to always inform NSCDC whenever they suspected any form of insecurity in their vicinity.
