NNPCL Debt: Group calls for the sack of Kyari.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Mele Kyari has been blamed for the staggering $6.8 billion debt of the Company.

Leaders of the All Progressive Congress Youth Solidarity Network has however, demanded the immediate resignation of Mele Kyari, due to the company's debt profile.

The President of the Group, Olalekan Isaac, while addressing journalists at a in Abuja condemned Kyari's leadership, citing a lack of transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility.

Isaac highlighted the irony of Nigeria, Africa's largest oil exporter, relying on fuel imports due to years of systemic neglect and mismanagement. He urged Kyari to take responsibility for his failures and resign, making way for new leadership that embodies transparency, accountability, and integrity.

The group called on President Bola Tinubu to facilitate Kyari's resignation, initiate a comprehensive investigation into NNPC's financial dealings, and implement measures to prevent similar occurrences.

The group reaffirmed their commitment to upholding transparency, accountability, and exemplary governance, vowing to continue advocating for a Nigeria where accountability reigns supreme.
