EFCC Charges Youths To Lead The Fight Against Social Vices.
The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has admonish Nigerian youths to take the front row in the fight against all forms of social vices.
This charge was made by the Director of Ibadan Zonal Directorate, Hauwa Garba Ringim, who was represented by the Head of Public Affairs Dept. of Ibadan Directorate, Olumide Egbodofo at the website launch and pre-convention meet of the zone D of National Association of Nigerian Students held at the Fedral college of Agriculture, ibadan Oyo state capital.
The EFCC boss urge the youths to utilize the cyberspace for creative and positive forward looking ideas which can bring glory and honour to them, families and the nation at large.
Olumide Egbodofo however appreciate the NANS Zone D for been a partner in progress in the fight against corruption and other social vices, stressing that the commission can not do it alone.
In her own remarks the Provost of the college Dr. Elizabeth Augustus , also encouraged the students to shun social vices but rather use the website to create connectivity, intellectual exchange of knowledge and promote goal setting agenda for themselves.
Earlier in his welcome address the coordinator NANS Zone D, comrade John Alao said the innovation is the first of it's kind in the zone, which will afford students to upload their informations, express their grievances and generally passing information to Nigerian students in the Zone.
