Nigeria Police sign MOU with US Govt Law Enforcement

The Nigeria Police Force in collaboration with representatives from the United States Government’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will focuses on the operationalization of the Special Intervention Squad. It is a joint initiative aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Nigerian Police Force in addressing emerging security challenges at the IGP’s Conference Hall.

The MoU underscores the commitment to enhance the force’s operational capabilities.
Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with the US government and emphasized the importance of international partnerships in addressing transnational crime to ensure the overall safety and security of the nation.

IGP Egbetokun reiterated the Nigerian Police Force’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and service delivery.

He urged all strategic police managers to embrace the new policing vision, rooted in a culture of discipline and professional competence, guided by the rule of law, driven by service and passion for excellence.
