Makinde Reaffirm Commitment To Harmonious Partnership With Other Tiers Of Govt.

Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde has reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to continue to work with the judiciary and legislative arm of government in sustaining a functional system in the state.

The Governor stated this at the swearing-in ceremony for Justice Tajudeen Mohammad Abdulganiyu as the president of the customary court of appeal at the Executive chambers, governor's office Ibadan.

Makinde who expressed hope that with the advantage of a longer duration in office still ahead for Justice Abdulganiyu's, he would bring to bear needed development and stability of the customary court system as his administration would accord him necessary support to discharge his new responsibilities.

Commenting on the new President of customary court of appeal's biography, Governor Makinde applauded his doggedness in facing various life challenges to emerge at the pinnacle of his career, and urged Nigerian youths to take a cue as against the pursuit of quick wealth, adding that anything that would endure usually requires time and perseverance.

In his remarks, newly sworn in President of the customary court of appeal, pledged to work in building the customary court system as an institution for the benefit of the people

The Deputy Governor Barrister Bayo Lawal, the Speaker of the state house of Assembly, Rt Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, the chief judge Hon. Justice Iyabo Yerima, The Chief Imam of Ibadanland Alhaji Abdulganiyu Agbotomokekere amongst other dignitaries graced the event.
