The Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun has decorated the recently promoted Deputy Inspector-General of Police, DIG Ari Muhammed as the Coordinating DIG for the North Central region.

DIG Ari Muhammed has a distinguished record of service, characterized by exemplary leadership and dedication, having served in various capacities, including DC Ops at the Lagos State Police Command, CP Delta State Command, and AIG Zone 2, Onikan, Lagos. Prior to his recent promotion. He served as the AIG Zone 1, Kano.

The IGP in his remark at the event well attended at the Force headquarters in Abuja, said the Force remains resolute in its mission to eliminate gender-based violence and foster a community in which every individual feels safe and respected.

He charged Individuals to speak out against violence, seek help and report incidents to the authorities.

The IGP further reiterated his commitment to enhancing policing efforts and ensuring effective law enforcement across the country.
