Management of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company has denied the reported attack on some members of Take it Now Movement during a peaceful protest last Monday in the state capital.

Recall that the Coordinator of the Movement in Oyo State had yesterday at a news conference accused the Management of the power distribution company of being the brain behind the attack on them.

Reacting to the allegations, the Senior Communication Officer of IBEDC in Oyo State, Frank Williams said the company has no hand in the attack adding that the company only invited the policemen to safeguard facilities at the premises.

He confirmed that the company was aware of the peaceful protest before it was disrupted saying leaders of the group were invited for dialogue but failed to show up.

Williams declared that the Management of the company has put in place measures towards resolving the lingering issues with members of the group.
