Delta state governor Sheriff Oborevwori has assured the people of the state that his administration is committed to the security of lives and property despite the security challenges.

The governor made this known when he received the state executives of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN, over the ongoing protest.

According to the governor, people were expecting violence in the state as a result of the 2020 EndSars protest but the reverse was the case.

On his part, the PFN chairman Bishop Kingsley Enakhireri reiterated the need for peace in the state.
