Anambra police raid insurgents camp, rescues reverend father.
Police led Forward Operating Base comprising military and paramilitary in Aguata raided insurgents camp at Ogbunka, in Orumba south local government area of Anambra state.
 
In a statement by the state police command spokesperson Ikenga Tochukwu made available to Galaxy news, said three abducted person's including a reverend father were rescued unhurt, as nine vehicles and three pump action guns were recovered.
 
Three suspects according to the police were arrested, while stolen camouflage uniforms, Biafra flags and other memorabilia of insurgents were also recovered during the raid.
 
 
The gang has been responsible for spate of kidnappings in Orumba south and North as well as parts of Aguata local government area.
 
The Anambra police commissioner Aderemi Adeoye who ordered and coordinated the operation, commended all service personnel and vigilante men involved for their professionalism which ensured no life was lost.
