The Anambra state police commissioner CP Nnaghe Obono has led operatives of the command to an on-the-spot assessment after five persons were killed in a cult related clash at Nibo community on Sunday.

 

 

The command in a statement by its spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga made available to newsmen, said the Anambra police commissioner led other senior officers to ascertain the remote cause, with a view to bringing the perpetrators to book.

 

 

The command frown at the act of the deceased relatives to bury evidence, suppress information and disrupt the ongoing investigation.

 

The Anambra police commissioner after over an hour inspection at the scene of the dastardly act, said the command will leave no stone unturned in hunting down the assailants.

 

 

It will be recalled that five persons were killed, with three fatally injured when rival cult group clash during a new yam festival on Sunday at Nibo community in Anambra state.
