The Anambra state police commissioner CP Nnaghe Obono has ordered an immediate investigation into the murder of three persons, which left five others seriously injured.

The Anambra CP made this known in a statement by his spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga made available to newsmen, said preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were lured by some.indivisuals through a phone call to a contested land, in guise of land transaction before attacking them with guns and machete.

The Anambra police commissioner also sued for calm as police operatives have recovered the abandoned Sienna vehicle used by the murderers, as the injured victims are presently receiving treatment for injuries sustained.

The corpses of the victims are also deposited at the mortuary as the police commissioner promised to get to the root of the matter to arrest perpetrators.
