Activities Pick up in Anambra as Government Lift Ban
There was jubilation around churches in Anambra State as places of worship were able to meet for the first time since the 4 weeks lockdown imposed by the state government.
A visit to some of the churches saw members adhering to the social distance directive as they danced and sang songs of joy to God for the opportunity to worship in his presence once again.
While some members wore the face mask as mandated by the state government, others came in without the facemask.
However, a visit to some of the markets in the state saw a return to normalcy as the markets were a beehive of activities.
The Governor of the State, Willie Obiano had on the 25th of April Lifted the lockdown in the State allowing businesses and churches to reopen while the boarders with neighbouring states remain shut.
