Obama's tweet to Charlottesville breaks record
Former US President, Barack Obama has tweeted a picture and a quote in response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend.
Obama's tweet since it dropped has gotten a record-breaking amount of engagement from Twitter users.
The first black President of the United States tweets as at when this story is reported has accumulated about 4.1 million "likes."
Citing Nelson Mandela, Obama wrote, "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion ... People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love ... For love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."
While he posted of himself smiling over the window to children of different races.
