COVID-19: Oyo records 4 new cases

The Chairman of COVID-19 Taskforce who is also the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde who made the disclosure at a news conference at the Agodi Government House said the committee has mapped out strategies to enforce the use of masks for all residents of the state.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Makinde revealed his administration has approved the production of one million locally-made nose masks for the use of the residents.

He stated that the state government has already contracted out the production of the masks to tailors in the state.

Makinde disclosed that the committee has equally postponed the opening of the state Secretariat slated for 20th of this month till 27th of April.

On palliatives, Makinde revealed that his government has gotten the actual number of the poorest of the poor in the state adding that the distribution would commence next week.

He thanked all stakeholders in the state for their cooperation and support adding that protection of lives of the residents is Paramount to his government
