The Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, on Thursday briefed President Muhammadu Buhari on sporting activities in the country while he was on medical vacation in the United Kingdom.

Speaking with State House correspondents at the end of the meeting, Dalung said the President congratulated Nigeria for clinching a seat at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) executive committee and the progress so far recorded in sports.The minister said the President promised to continue to support sports despite the economic constraint.
