Unknown GunMen in the early hours of today attacked policemen on duty along the Delta community of Otulu AKWUKWU IGBO road, in Aniocha South local government area of the state leaving one policeman dead with their patrol vehicle razed. 

This is coming less than two weeks after a police station was razed in Nsukwa community where three policemen were killed. 

The unknown gunmen according to community sources fled into the bush after the incident, while the remaining policemen fled in different directions. 

When contacted, the Delta police spokesperson Edafe Bright promised to get back after speaking with the state police commissioner Muhammad Ali but did not respond to calls as at the time of filing this report.
