Unknown gunmen on Friday invaded the Residence of Zonal Vice Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria Southern Senatorial Zone of Adamawa Alhaji Sa`idu Sale Kolaku and shot him to death.

The Adamawa State Police Public relations officer Sulaiman Yahya Guroje confirmed the incidence in a Press statement released to journalists in Adamawa State.

The statement further said that the police are investigating the matter and will not relent until the culprits are brought to book and face the full wrath of the law 

According to the statement, the police appeals to the general public to help the police in giving useful information that will lead to the arrest of the unknown gunmen 

Also galaxy correspondent contacted the State Public Relations Officer of the Miyetti Allah cattle breeders Association on a telephone interview, Muhammad Jika Buba said the unknown Gunmen carrying dangerous weapons stormed the residence of the deceased around twelve midnight at Sabon Begi Mayo Belwa and killed him.

The PRO revealed that the death of their leader is connected to myriads of achievements in arresting kidnappers and cattle rustlers.

He said the leader is killed because of fighting all sorts of crime, ranging from Boko Haram, cattle rustlers and most importantly kidnappers who their menace work is prevalent in recent time in the state.

According to him, the death of their leader has created a huge gap that the issue of insecurity in the southern part of the state is under a serious threat.

The Miyetti public Relations Officer said Sa’idu until his death, he has been complementing the efforts of security agents in the fight against Kidnappers in Adamawa which earn him an award of recognition by Adamawa state Police Commissioner
