A  Senior Advocate of Nigeria and one time President of the Nigerian Bar Association Pa Thompson Okpoko has cautioned the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences commission ICPC against generalizing the issue of corruption among lawyers and judges in Nigeria.

 He made the disclosure in Warri while speaking with our correspondent Dele Fasan on the need for a better judiciary in the New year.

 The legal luminary said there is no denying the fact that there are corrupt lawyers but the commission must mention names if it knows what it is doing.

He called for a review of the structure of the appeal court in Nigeria, in ensuring that states are not prevented from having an appeal court.

He also urges judges in the country to be transparent in their dealings, to ensure the judiciary returns to its best.
