The Police Community Relations Committee in the South West Geopolitical zone has embarked on the massive mobilization of notable individuals to support Police in the struggle to reduce crimes and criminality in the six states.

The Assistant National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee, South West, Ibraheem Olaniyan made this known in Abeokuta while inaugurating patrons who were selected from different states in the zone.

He noted that Policemen are trying but they need the support of the people to perform effectively, urging citizens to provide useful information for them to excel.

The Commissioner of Police in the State, Bashir Makama who was represented by his deputy, Ogbadu said the body has been very supportive and their contributions to security in the community deserve commendation.
