The Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has hailed the ruling of the Supreme Court, which affirmed his election as Governor of the State, saying the verdict revalidated the position of Kogi People who freely cast their ballots on November 11, 2023.

Reacting to Supreme Court verdict in Abuja, Ododo commended the Supreme Court on the verdict, stating that it restores stability to the government and puts the state on the path of progress.

He added that the verdict made him free of all entanglement to deliver on his promises to Kogi People in line with the manifesto of the All Progressive Party and renewed Hope Agenda of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Kogi State.

Speaking further, he called on opposition parties to join him in moving the State forward and consolidate on the state current development trajectory.
