National Security: Imo Governor Calls for South-East Governors Support
Imo state Governor Hope Uzodimma has called on governours in the South East to support the federal government in ensuring that the security challenges currently ravaging the country become a thing of the past.
The Governor made the call at the Government House in Owerri when he received religious leaders led by the archbishop of Enugu Anglican diocese Emmanuel Chukwuma.
Fielding questions from newsmen, the Imo State Governor said since the government cannot handle security issues alone, governors in the south-east should rally round the federal government.
On his part, the archbishop said the south-east can no longer trust the present security architecture hence the planned south-east security.
