LP Seeks Capital Punishment For Corrupt Officials
The Labour party is calling on President Bola Tinubu to sign an executive order that will ensure Capital punishment are meted out to corrupt officials who steal government resources.
Labour party factional National publicity secretary, Abayomi Arabambi made this known in a chat with Galaxy TV News in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Arabambi who acknowledged the dwindling economy currently experienced in Nigeria said, those who have put Nigeria in this state must be made to face the law.
He noted that until there are stiffer punishments that will serve as a deterrent, the fight against corruption and corrupt practices may just be foot dragging.
