The Governing Council of the Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho has declared its determination to reposition the University for the Good of humanity.

The Chairman of the council Prof. Deji Omole who gave the assurance while speaking with Journalists in Ibadan said the council has already hit the ground running with some landmark initiatives.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the Chairman of the council declared the university has all its takes in term of human and material resources to compete with its contemporaries in Nigeria and the world at large.

On his part, the President of LAUTECH Alumni Association Worldwide Onilede Solomon declared the support of the body for the state government and the governing council towards moving the institution forward.

Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde a few days ago sacked the Vice-Chancellor of the institution.
