Kidnapped Lawmaker's Sister Regains Freedom as Police Arrest Two Suspects
Jumoke Babalola-Oludele, a sister to one of the members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Sunkammi Babalola, who was kidnapped 12 days ago has been freed by her abductors.
Babalola-Oludele, whose brother represents Egbeda State constituency, was abducted on Monday, December 21, 2020.
Recall that the victim was abducted on Monday, 21st December last year and the kidnappers were demanding N20m ransom.
Three gunmen had kidnapped the victim at Monatan area of Ibadan while coming from her shop.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi, said on Saturday that two suspects were arrested in connection with the abduction of the sister of Oyo lawmaker who has regained her freedom and are currently being investigated, please.
Brother to the abducted lady said that no ransom was paid for the release of her sister.
The command commended residents of the state for their support and trust in the command.
