Gov Alia Flags Open NYSC Batch 'a' Stream 2 Camp in Benue

Members of the National Youth Service Corps posted to BENUE state for the mandatory one year service have been urge to use the scheme for national building and integration, while contributing their quota for national development.
Governor Hyacinth Alia of BENUE, states this while being represented by the Permanent Secretary ministry of youths, Dr Philip Nongo, while flagging open the 2025 batch 'A' Stream two orientation course ceremony at Wannune in Tarka local government area where he assured them of their adequate security.
The State NYSC coordinator, Veronica Garba, welcoming the guests and the corps members to the flagging open ceremony, she thanked governor Hyacinth Alia and security agencies for supporting NYSC, stating over one thousand three prospective corps members have so been registered for the scheme, designed to enhance their capacity and leadership skills.
Some corps members who spoke to journalist’s shorty after their oath taking ceremony administered by the representative of the BENUE state Chief Judge, Justice J.N Adagba, at the orientation camp in Wannune, said they hope to make best of the scheme during their stay.
