A Federal Government delegation has arrived in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, to receive the remains of late business icon Alhaji Aminu Dantata ahead of his funeral. The delegation is led by Minister of Defence Muhammad Badaru Abubakar and includes key officials such as Minister of Justice Prince Lateef Fagbemi and Minister of Information Alhaji Mohammed Idris.

Other members of the delegation include Minister of State for Housing Development Honourable Yusuf Abdullahi Ata and prominent Islamic clerics. The delegation is joined by members of the Nigerian Consulate General in Jeddah, led by Ambassador Muazzam Ibrahim Nayaya, who has been coordinating arrangements for the funeral.

Alhaji Aminu Dantata passed away in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Saturday at the age of 94.The funeral is scheduled to take place in Madinah, where Dantata will be buried next to his late wife, Rabi Dantata, in accordance with his wishes. The Federal Government's gesture underscores the national significance of Dantata's passing and the esteem in which he was held.
