Delta governor blames killers of soldiers for ignoring peace accord
Delta state governor Sheriff Oborevwori has blamed those behind the killing of seventeen soldiers in the Delta community of Okuama, in Ughelli south local government area of Delta for going ahead with the dastardly act despite signing a peace accord.
The governor made the disclosure during a stakeholders meeting with community leaders from the twenty five local government area of Delta state.
The governor urge the community leaders to shun social media report, saying those speculating have no knowledge of happenings in the community.
On why he declined to address the media during his visit to the troubled community, he said he has to brief the president and security agencies as it is the right thing to do.
