Delta community gets water 38-years after

The people of Agwazi camp one community in Ndokwa East local government area of Delta state can now heave a sigh of relief, as the chairman of Ndokwa East local government commissions a bore-hole water project which have eluded them for thirty eight years. 


The predominantly farming community which is situated along the River Niger bank have been drinking from the river which they said have affected their children growth.

The commissioning of the water project which took the council chairman and journalists on a speed to the community, led to the chairman saying the community have been deprived of basic amenities.

The council chairman promised to concentrate on underdeveloped communities in ensuring that they enjoy basic amenities.

The high point of the brief ceremony was the cutting of tape to commission the water project which was running and ready to use.
