President Muhammadu Buhari has agreed to address members of the House of Representatives as requested by the lawmakers on Tuesday.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila made the disclosure while addressing journalists after a meeting with the president at the Presidenial villa Abuja, Wednesday.

Gbajabiamila said a date when the president will be addressing members of the green Chambers will be announced in due course.

The speaker also said the president is more concerned about the insecurity of the nation adding that the president will speak to the Nigerian people through their representatives in the nearest future.

Recall that the house, after deliberation of a motion from a member from Borno State resolved to summon the president to appear before it for a situation brief on the insecurity
