Benue youths task Buhari to tag herdsmen 'terrorists'

As the issue of suspected herdsmen killings continues to dominate Nigeria media space, the President of the Benue Youth Movement, Kwenum Terrence says declaring Myetti Kautal Hore and other similar groups as terrorists will end the killings that has sparked outrage and elicited international condemnation.


 In an exclusive interview with Galaxy’s Godfrey Eshiemoghie, the Benue native says the Fulani groups who have admitted being masterminds of killings in Benue and other parts of the country have continued unchecked because the Nigerian govt. is yet to designate them terrorists.

Kwenum Terrence says the plans to establish cattle colonies in different parts of the country is unacceptable in the face of the current national confusion, and accuses Nigeria’s Agriculture Minister, Audu Ogbeh, himself a Benue native, of betraying his people.

The President of the Benue Youth Movement who laments the govt’s slow pace in addressing the killings and the attendant humanitarian crises arising from the activities of suspected Fulani herdsmen in different parts of the country.
