Aftermath of criticism by Civil Society groups, the Bayelsa state governor Douye Diri has read the riot act to members of his executive committee over the allegation of misappropriation of eight billion naira Agricultural loan secured by his administration.

The governor made the remarks when he met with serving commissioners and leaders of the state to clear the air on the allegation.

Speaking at the government house executive chambers in Yenagoa, Governor Diri charges them to find out hour the loans were used and report to him. The governor mandated the commissioner of Agriculture to come out with his blueprint, in tackling hunger in the state.
