Barely 24 hours after a petroleum product storage shop was gutted by fire in Delta state, another market popularly called Ijaw market in Warri South West local government area of Delta state have also been razed by fire.

Although the cause of the fire could not be ascertained despite the speculation of sabotage, traders were seen counting their losses when they rushed to the site early this morning.

Expressing their pains, some affected traders blamed the state government for not doing enough as the present incident made it the fourth time the market would be razed by fire.

Meanwhile, the commissioner representing Ijaw communities in the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission(DESOPADEC) who visited the market promised government would interven.

Two years ago, similar fire incident gulped the market, a developement that resulted to victims lashing on the state government for not doing enough in finding a lasting solution to the continuous fire outbreak.
