The Anambra State Government has ordered all civil servants in the State to resume at their various desks on Monday, the 4th of May,

This was contained in a public service announcement signed by the secretary to the State Government, Prof. Solo Chukwubelu in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Among the civil servants to resume are all primary and secondary school teachers in the State.

However, Pupils and students are to remain at home and follow Anambra Teaching On Air through various electronic and online platforms.

Workers and residents in the state are enjoined to avail themselves of facemasks as it has become compulsory to wear them while moving around in the State.

Families are also encouraged to bury their loved ones as soon as death occurs and the burial should not involve more than 30 persons during which the guidelines on social distancing and wearing of face masks must be strictly observed.

Traditional Rulers, President Generals of Town Unions, Community Leaders and Law Enforcement Agencies are to ensure that the above guidelines are strictly complied with and enforced.
