Adamawa State Deputy Governor Crowther Seth disclosed that the government will partner with the Road Safety Corp to ensure the safety of road users in Adamawa and beyond  

Crowther Seth made this known at the Flag off of the third quarter zonal retreat at Adamawa State polytechnic, Yola, with the theme improving public enlightenment through stakeholders collaboration.

Seth said Adamawa State government under Ahmadu Fintiri will continue to partner with the road safety corp in order to enlighten the public on the dangers of over speeding and reckless driving 

The deputy governor, however, called on the general public to always adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of the Road safety corp so that the rate of the accident will be drastically reduced.

The Zonal commanding officer Federal Road Safety Corp, Edward Zambe said the commission is in dire need of the support from the state government and institutions in the State so that their aim will be achieved 

He, however, cautioned the tricycle riders and drivers to be mindful of the way they drive, as the commission will not hesitate in dealing with whoever violates the rules and regulations of the commission.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Rector Adamawa State polytechnic Yola professor Ibrahim Umar said it is pertinent for such gathering to hold because it will go along way in addressing the menace of accident cases in the State 

The Rector also assured the general public that the students and management of the institution will do everything possible to abide by the rules of the Corp that will be of paramount importance to the well-being of the institution.
