The House of Representatives has sworn in three new lawmakers from Rivers state whoemerged winners after the state re-run elections.

 The lawmakers are Betty Jocelyn of the People's Democratic Party representing Ahoada East/Abua/Odual East constituency; Chinda Kingsley Ogundu also of the People's Democratic Party representing Obio/Akpor constituency and Nsiegbe Blessing Ibiba of PDP representing Port- Harcourt 11 constituency.
